Field Wood Lacrosse Stick with Rawhide Gutwall - Handmade by Justin Skaggs
COVID-19 and our steps to stay safe.
In these trying times it is important to appreciate the joys in life, which is why I am continuing to make sticks. Although I will still be making sticks, government restrictions may not allow me to consistently distribute them. So, if you order, I ask that you only do so if you are content waiting as the COVID-19 situation continues to unwind.
I always strive to get my sticks out as soon as possible, however the restrictions on non-essential businesses are changing every day. I respect these restrictions. If you purchase a stick, please know that I will still put the love and care into making if for you. Since I am investing my time in completing your order, I cannot accept returns or offer refunds, if shipping errors or delays occur.
My commitment has, and always will be, making quality sticks as efficiently and timely as possible. If government restrictions impede my ability to ship, please know, my first priority upon returning to normalcy, will be to send your stick and bring joy to you and your family. I appreciate you being a participating partner as we all move forward as a community.
This is the Field Lacrosse Stick hand crafted by Justin Skaggs.
All of my sticks are made from Hickory trees I cut in Northern Pennsylvania. Each stick is handcrafted over the course of many months.
Pockets are often overlooked on classic wooden sticks. I've strung pockets for more than 16 years, and I use that stringing experience to mold a handspun pocket that is broken in and ready to enjoy. I prefer to use a traditional rawhide gutwall, which is sourced from a family farm in central PA. The head is laced with a softly braided bootlace.
As noted in the name, this model is made for Field Lacrosse. Field sticks feature a wider head which makes for easier catching and similar feel to modern heads.
Everything here is hand made in my woodshop, so I need a few days to process things.
** Engravings will add additional time. Likely 48 to 72 hours. I encourage you to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
I offer expedited shipping options, but please know that these items need to process before they ship. Everything here is hand made in my woodshop. Expedited shipping will not affect the processing time. Feel free to shoot me a call if you have any questions on timing and the like.
I am happy to work things out with you.
The Post Office (flat rate shipping) moves its packages over the weekend and UPS does not. So please keep this in mind as you select your shipping and counting your days. USPS states that their shipping will take 2 to 3 days but it may come a day sooner or a day later. I will ship them on time, but please keep your eye on the tracking information I send you.
