Bezh (David Bezhigoogabaw Butler) is a stick maker currently residing in Minneapolis .
Every Stick Bezh makes has a slightly different shape to it. The wood grain dictates the stick, and you can tell that he has a keen eye and a fantastic ability to read the grain lines. They are strung with a simple leather pocket that is customary for this style of lacrosse stick. One should appreciate the added details madeto end of the leathers. It is a wonderful detail.
Bezh focuses on growing this game within his own community more than making it mainstream. In an interview with Nicholas DeShaw in 2020 Bezh was quoted saying "“I do want to see people in my community playing like it’s an ordinary thing to do. Because when I was growing up I didn’t even know about traditional lacrosse.”
This Wooden Great Lakes Style Lacrosse Stick is roughly 33 inches and it is ready to use out of the box.
