This Stickball set was designed and handcrafted by Brenner Billy. Brenner has been making his stick ball set for some time now and I am proud to bring them to you. Brenner is a Chata from Oklahoma. In addition to being an excellent stick maker, he also actively works and speaks on behalf of his Indigenous community.
Stickball dates back hundreds of years and is an integral part of Chata life. The first non-Indigenous documentation of the game came from the Jesuit Priest's accounts of the game in the early 1700's. These reports likely came from what is now southern Mississippi. For more information on the history of the game, you can visit http://www..org.
This set does NOT come with a ball. Brenner Billy's handmade ball is offered at a discount if you buy his set of sticks.
Since this is a handmade item, it requires a few days of processing time. If timing is crucial, I am always happy to work with you.
Engravings will add additional time. Likely 48 to 72 hours.
Expedited shipping options are available.
The Post Office (flat rate shipping) moves its packages over the weekend and UPS does not. Keep this in mind as you select your shipping option. USPS states that their shipping will take 2 to 3 days but it may come a day sooner or later. Please keep your eye on the tracking information sent to you.
